Recommend equipment purchases for transportation and maintenance <br /> operations. <br /> 3. Direction and supervision of equipment and building maintenance <br /> operations. <br /> 4. Supervising inspection of equipment to promote safety of the riding and <br /> general public. <br /> F. Equipment Purchasing: <br /> 1. Direction and supervision of purchasing minor equipment, hardware, <br /> office supplies, etc. <br /> 4. ATE shall also furnish, either upon the request of or with the prior approval of <br /> City, such in-house consulting and technical assistance as may be reasonably required to assist <br /> the resident manager in the operation of the transit system which shall include but not be limited <br /> to the matters set out in Paragraph 3 hereof. Such services will be provided at no additional cost <br /> to the City, with the exception of travel and living expenses incurred by nonresident ATE <br /> personnel in performing such services away from their usual place of business. The City will <br /> reimburse ATE for such expenses at the following rates: <br /> air travel - coach fare, if available <br /> auto travel - per mile rate allowed by state or federal government as of beginning <br /> of each six-month period during the term of this Agreement <br /> other travel expenses - at actual cost <br /> lodging and subsistence - $125 per day, to be increased by 5% as of the beginning <br /> of each contract year <br /> 3 <br />
