RESOLUTiON NO. R 96-47 RESOLUTION REVERSING A DECISION OF THE DECATt1R ELECTRICAL COMMISSION WHEREAS, on April 10, 1996, pursuant to notice as required by ordinance, the Decatur Electrical Commission held a public hearing upon the request of Richard C. Engdale for renewal of his Electrician license, said request for renewal having been received by the City of Decatur on February 20, 1996, after the deadline of February 1, 1996; and, WHEREAS, after due consideration, the Electrical Commission did deny the rec�uest and did refuse to renew said Electrician license; and, WHEREAS, Richard C. Engdale has timely filed an appeal of said Commission's decision with the City Clerk, seeking a determination by this Council that his Electrician license should be renewed without retesting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the appeal of Richard C. Engdale, as described herein be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved, and the aforesaid decision of the Decatur Electrical Commission be, and the same is hereby, disapproved and reversed. Section 2. That the rec�uested renewal of the Electrician license be allowed, and said Electrician's license be issued to Richard C. Engdale, provided that all other statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations with regard thereto are properly complied with. PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of April, 1996. . � - -,, TE$,P�Y M.
