AGREEMENT <br /> This Agreement("Agreement")is entered into this�ay of March, 1996, by and between <br /> the City ofDecatur, Illinois, an lllinois municipal corporation(the"City"), and James C. Bacon, Jr., <br /> ("Employee") a resident of the City of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WI-�REAS,the City has employed Employee as City Manager for a period of time prior to <br /> the date of this Agreement, and had entered into a separate agreement with Employee dated April <br /> 24, 1995, providing for terms and conditions of said employment; <br /> WHEREAS, Employee desires to sever his employment with the City; <br /> VVI�REAS,Employee further seeks from the City certain authorization to provide creditable <br /> service under the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund ("IlVIRF")for out-of-state service provided by <br /> Employee to Colorado Springs, Colorado from July 1973 to 7une 1976; and <br /> VV��REAS,the City has authorized previously, pursuant to Resolution No. R95-54, to grant <br /> to Employee, subject to the terms thereof, creditable service for the out-of-state services rendered <br /> to Hales Corners, Wisconsin, and Ripon, Wisconsin. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained <br /> herein, and Ten Dollars ($10.00), in hand paid, and other good and valuable consideration, the <br /> receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto do hereby agree as , <br /> follows � ' <br /> 1.
