( ' <br /> of Employee by the City, which agreement was dated April 24, 1995, and which agreement is <br /> incorporated herein by reference. Said Apri124, 1995, agreement included therein as an exhibit a <br /> certain Resolution which was enacted by the lawfully authorized City Council of the City, and which <br /> was provided Resolution No.R95-54,which Resolution is likewise incorporated herein by reference. <br /> 2. Employee has submitted his resignation to the City, which resignation is to be <br /> effective March 16, 1996. Employee has tendered said resignation voluntarily, without any duress, <br /> misunderstanding, or misapprehension, and said resignation is tendered to pernut Employee to <br /> commence employment as City Manager on behalf of Troy, Michigan. <br /> 3. The City accepts Employee's resignation described above. <br /> 4. Previously, Employee sought the right to purchase creditable service for services <br /> rendered by Employee to out-of-state local governmental bodies. Specifically, Employee sought <br /> to obtain creditable service for out-of-state services rendered to Hales Corners, Wisconsin, and <br /> Ripon, Wisconsin, which authorization was provided by the City pursuant to the April 24, 1995, <br /> agreement and Resolution No. R95-54, subject always to the terms thereof. Furthermore, the City <br /> granted and provided to Employee a credit of the sum of Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars <br /> ($7,400.00) toward the purchase of a Coupon Treasury Security (bond)which security was to be <br /> in the principal Zero amount of$160,000.00 with a maturity date in the year 2019. Said security <br /> was to be the sole property of the City, and prior to requesting IlVIRF to credit such services, said <br /> security was to be purchased and deli��ered to the City. <br /> 5. Employee has requested to obtain creditable service for out-of-state services provided <br /> by Employee to Colorado Springs, Colorado, from July 1973 to June 1976, and has requested that <br /> the Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00) credit authorized by the City relating to <br /> 2 <br />
