�' <br />� 1 . The potential for residual soil and/or groundwater contamination by <br /> lead from the possible deposition of waste materials from an on-site <br />� painting operation and later from an on-site auto body repair shop. <br />� 2. The potential for a past release from underground petroleum product <br /> storage tanks at a reported former on-site gasoline service station. <br />� 3. The potential for residual contamination from the possible deposition <br /> of waste materials from an on-site chemical laboratory and later <br />� from an on-site chemical manufacturer. <br />� 4. The potential for residual contamination from coal products stored <br /> and handled at an on-site retail lumber operation and an adjacent <br />� off-site coal mine. <br />� 5. The potential for residuai contamination from an adjacent off-site <br /> coal gasification plant. <br />� 6. The potential for polychlorinated bipl�enyl (PCB) contamination from <br /> an adjacent off-site electrical power substation, as well as on-site <br />� electrical equipment, including elevator motors and transformers. <br />� 7. The material threat of a release from an existing above ground <br /> waste oil tank at tlie Sears Automobile Service Center. <br />� The ur ose of this ESA was to iden if n r I <br /> p p t y ge e a environmental conditions and potential <br />� environmental liabilities from past or current activities at the subject site, or on surrounding <br /> properties, which might impact the subject site. Significant potential environmental <br />� concerns consist of the presence or likely presence of hazardous substances or petroleum <br /> products on the site, under conditions that indicate an existing release, a past release or <br />� a material threat of a release into the environment. Hazardous substances include those <br /> as identified under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability <br /> Act (CERCLA), as amended, and State law. Petroleum products include crude oil and any <br />� refined fractions thereof, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, used oil, etc. and natural gas <br /> products. Significant potential environmental concerns do not include minor conditions of <br />� insignificant risk to human health or tf�e environment, those tliat would not be the subject <br /> TESTWG SERVICE CORPOR/1TION <br />� -2- <br />
