Reed, Mass Transit Administrator <br /> Subject: IDOT Operating Assistance Grant Agreement for FY'96 <br /> Upon City Council approval, the attached resolution will authorize the execution of a I <br /> Downstate Operating Assistance Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation. The <br /> State will reimburse the City for 45% of the eligible operating expenses of the Decatur Public <br /> Transit System in FY'96 (July 1, 1995 thru June 30, 1996). <br /> The mass transit operating budget for the State fiscal year is estimated at $2,200,000, of <br /> which IDOT's share will be $990,000. The first quarterly reimbursement for FY'96 is expected <br /> in March, 1996. <br />
