• � ' t , <br /> 2. It shall be the responsibility of the County to own, install, operate and maintain any <br /> system or procedure, whether mechanical or otherwise, in addition to those systems or procedures <br /> normally used by the City in the operations of Garage C, which is intended to secure the use of <br /> the spaces described in Section 1 hereof for the exclusive use of persons called to jury duty. Any <br /> such system or procedure, prior to initiation or installation, shall be approved by the Director of <br /> Public Works for the City. For the purposes of this section, the County may enter into <br /> agreements with other persons, corporations or governmental units. <br /> 3. The County shall pay the City Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per month during the <br /> term of this agreement, such payment to be made to the City Treasurer not later than the tenth <br /> (lOth) day of each month. <br /> 4. The City shall be responsible for the maintenance of Garage C, but not for the <br /> maintenance of any fixture or other improvement placed or installed thereat by the County <br /> pursuant to Section 2 hereof. With regard to such fixtures or installations, the County does <br /> hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the City and City Council members, City <br /> employees, officers and agents, in both individual and official capacities, from any and all claims, <br /> demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action for personal or bodily injury, death or <br /> property damage relating to or arising out of the operation and use of such fixtures and <br /> installations. <br /> 5. Any notice required or pernutted to be given or made hereunder, shall be sufficiently <br /> given or made by certified mail in a sealed envelope, prepaid, and addressed in the case of the <br /> City, to Matt Newell, Traffic Engineer, #1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, II. 62523, and in <br /> case ofthe Countyto Joe A. McGlaughlin, Chairman, Macon County Board <br /> 141 S. Main, Room 501 <br /> Decatur, Illinois 62523 <br />
