It shall be the responsibility of the County to own, install, operate and maintain any system or procedure, whether mechanical or otherwise, in addition to those systems or procedures normally used by the City in the operations of Garage C, which is intended to secure the use of the spaces described in Section 1 hereof for the exclusive use of persons called to jury duty. Any such system or procedure, prior to initiation or installation, shall be approved by the Director of Public Works for the City. For the purposes of this section, the County may enter into agreements with other persons, corporations or governmental units. 3. The County shall pay the City Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per month during the term of this agreement, such payment to be made to the City Treasurer not later than the tenth (lOth) day of each month. 4. The City shall be responsible for the maintenance of Garage C, but not for the maintenance of any fixture or other improvement placed or installed thereat by the County pursuant to Section 2 hereof. With regard to such fixtures or installations, the County does hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the City and City Council members, City employees, officers and agents, in both individual and official capacities, from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action for personal or bodily injury, death or property damage relating to or arising out of the operation and use of such fixtures and installations. 5. Any notice required or pernutted to be given or made hereunder, shall be sufficiently given or made by certified mail in a sealed envelope, prepaid, and addressed in the case of the City, to Matt Newell, Traffic Engineer, #1 Gary K.
