Lake Shore Drive would be <br /> realigned from the east directly into Martin Luther King Jr.Drive (Alternative F). The U.S. <br /> 51 interchange would be removed,allowing for pedestrian and bicycle access under U.S. 51. <br /> � New street would be constructed south of and parallel to the rail road to connect Martin <br /> Luther King Jr. Drive with U.S. 51. Illinois Route 105 would be redesignated to Martin <br /> Luther King Jr.Drive north of the connection and along U.S.51 south of the connection under <br /> � this alternative.
