b) $20,000 per lane mile of improvement. <br /> The STATE also agrees to pay the lesser of the amounts below for geometric improvements at <br /> intersections to accommodate turning movements of 80,000 pound trucks in addition to any other <br /> funds at four (4) intersections: <br /> a) 50% of the cost of the intersection improvements, or <br /> b) $10,000 per intersection. <br /> 6) The County agrees to pass a resolution clearly defining the limits of the proposed truck <br /> route along with identifying the class of 80,000 pound truck route. A copy of said <br /> resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof as E�ibit A. Such truck route shall <br /> be properly signed in accordance with the Illinois Manual of Uniform Traffic Control <br /> Devices. Cost of signing to be included in the cost of the project. <br /> 7) The COUNTY agrees to exercise its franchise rights to cause private utilities to be <br /> relocated at no expense to the STATE and cause public utilities and those private utilities <br /> located off public right-of-way to be relocated at PROJECT expense. <br /> 8) The parties hereto mutually agree that the estimated division of cost of the PROJECT is <br /> as follow: <br /> Division of Cost <br /> STATE (%� ITY % COUNTY (%� TOTAL <br /> Construction 1,949,300 (*) 2,143,350 (**) 2,143,350 (**) 6,236,000 <br /> Engineering 165,700 (*) 182.200 (**) 182,200 (**) 530.100 <br /> Total 2,115.000 2,325,550 2,325,550 6,766,100 <br /> * STATE'S share 50% up to a maximum of the balance of$4,SOO,OOO left from the construction <br /> of section 90-00119-00-PV under a previous agreement plus $481,200 from EDP Funds and <br /> $233,800 from TARP Funds. <br /> **The CITY and COLTNTY will participate equaly in the balance of the cost of the project not <br /> paid by the STATE. <br /> The STATE agrees to reimburse the COLJNTY the $481,200 from EDP Funds and the balance of <br /> the Revenue Initiative Funds which have not been invoiced under the previous agreement for <br /> Section 90-00119-00-PV (Approximately $1,400,000)upon approval of the contract by the <br /> STATE and a request for payment by the COUNTY. The STATE further agrees to reimburse the <br /> COtTNTY $20,000 per lane mile and$10,000 per eligible intersection for a total amount of <br /> $233,800 from the Truck Access Route Program upon completion of the improvement,to <br /> include placement of the appropriate truck route signs, approval of the final payment estimate, <br /> and a request for payment by the COLJNTY. The CITY agrees to pay the COIJNTY its share of <br /> the initial and subsequent engineers payment estimates paid to the contractor and its share of the <br /> construction engineering upon a request for payment from the COUNTY. <br />
