SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CONSULTANT <br /> Task 1: Proiect Initiation <br /> This Task involves an onsite project meeting to review and finalize the scope, schedule, and associated <br /> costs of the project, particularly in terms of: <br /> • sectioning/network definition <br /> • GIS linkage <br /> • field surveys <br /> • opiional software modules <br /> This task also involves acquiring a backup of the Micro PAVER system so that data can be transferred to <br /> - the Super PMS software. <br /> Task 1.1: Block bv Block Sectioninq <br /> This Task involvss systematically sectioning ihe network from hard copy maps on a block-by-block basis <br /> and creating a relationship between these sections and the project-by-project sectioning in the Micro <br /> PAVER database. <br /> Task 2: Software Assemblv <br /> This Task involves physically assembling the super PMS software and configuring the software from a <br /> systems perspective for use on City hardware. <br /> Task 2.1: Enqineerinq Modellinq/Tailorinca <br /> This Task involves an onsite meeting with City staff to review preliminary outputs of the system based on <br /> preliminary Decatur specific engineering models as per Task 4 below. Any modifications required to the <br /> engineering models as a result of feedback generated from this session would be done as part of Task 4 <br /> below. <br /> Task 3: Upload Micro PAVER Data <br /> This task has two components: <br /> I. Transferring attribute data (ie; traffic volumes, pavement width, etc.) from the Micro PAVER PMS <br /> database to the Super PMS database based on the relationship developed in Task 1.1. <br /> II. Developing a method, in conjunction with City staff, of transforming the PAVER condition data into a <br /> form that can be used by the Super PMS software. This data will then be transferred to the Super <br /> PMS using the relationship developed in Task 1.1. <br /> 2 <br /> 1 ___ <br />
