IV. FINANCING AND CONDITIONS <br /> A. Grant amounts will not exceed the lesser of $50, 000 <br /> or 80 percent of total project cost . There is a <br /> $1, 000 grant minimum. <br /> B. The applicant/property owner will enter into a <br /> twenty-year recorded facade grant agreement with the <br /> City for the exterior renovation work. The applicant <br /> will agree to make and maintain improvements to the <br /> building during the twenty (20) year term of the <br /> agreement . No alterations to the building facade <br /> will be allowed without prior approval of the city. <br /> C. Grants will only be approved for permanent quality <br /> exterior improvements to a property that maintain or <br /> enhance the building' s architectural or historical <br /> features . <br /> D. Grants shall not be provided for purely exterior <br /> maintenance activities which are the owner' s respon- <br /> sibility. <br /> E. An applicant may apply for a grant for more than one <br /> property. <br /> F. The applicant will pa� all other fees (not included <br /> in eligible work items) attributable to the project . <br /> G. The City reserves the right to recall the grant if <br /> any of the eligibility requirements are violated. <br /> V. DEADLINES AND PRIORITIZING � <br /> A. Application Period - Applications will be received <br /> and prioritized every 30 days beginning August 15 , <br /> 1994, as funds exist . <br /> B. Priority Ranking Criteria. <br /> 1 . Geographic Location <br /> Within CBD Image Area 0 pts . <br /> Within Historic District 5 pts . <br /> Merchant/Prairie Preference 10 pts . <br /> 2 . Buildina Significance <br /> Non-Contributing 0 pts . <br /> Contributing 5 pts . <br /> 5 <br />
