� <br /> CITY COIINCIL 1rIINUTES <br /> 1�ONDAY. FEBRIIARY 28. 1994 <br /> The City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, met in <br /> Closed, Executive Session in the City Council Conference Room. <br /> Mayor Erik C. Brechnitz presided; together with him being <br /> Councilmen Stephen F. John, Shirley M. Moore, William F. Oliver <br /> and Randolph L. Van Alstine. Councilmen William Mitchell and <br /> Kent N. Mittelberg were absent. Five members were present and <br /> two were absent. Mayor Brechnitz declared a quorum present. <br /> City Manager James C. Bacon, Jr. attended the meeting. <br /> The first item of business was a discussion relative to land <br /> acquisition for future capital improvement projects. No formal <br /> action was taken. <br /> The final item of business was a discussion regarding the <br /> cit 's labor relations. Jim Bacon addressed the Cit Council on <br /> Y Y <br /> negotiations with I.A.F.F. Local 505, representing the fire <br /> services division. No formal action was taken. <br /> Councilman Moore moved the meeting be re-opened to the <br /> I ublic• seconded b Counc' m <br /> il an Oliver and on call of the roll <br /> P � Y � � <br /> Councilmen John, Moore, Oliver, Van Alstine and Mayor Brechnitz , <br /> voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. ' <br /> The meeting was opened to the public and adjourned at 9:40 ' <br /> P.M. ' <br /> � <br /> City lerk <br />
