Operator shall furnish the City with written evidence of <br /> a contract or contracts of insurance with a reliable company or <br /> companies, authorized to do business in the State of Illinois and <br /> approved by City, by which contracts both the Operator and City <br /> are insured against any claim, demand or loss for injury to <br /> persons or damage to property resulting from, growing out of or <br /> connected with the performance of Operator's responsibilities and <br />� duties hereunder and any act or omission to act by Operator, or <br /> any of Operator's employees, which said contract or contracts of <br /> insurance shall have limits in amount not less than $500, 000 per <br /> occurrence, except that this obligation shall not require the <br /> Operator to furnish insurance against injury to persons or damage <br /> to property caused by the negligence of City or its employees. <br /> i 10.
