Reed, Mass Transit Administrator <br /> Subject: FTA Operating Assistance Grant Agreement for FY' 93 <br /> Upon City Council approval, the attached resolution will <br /> authorize the execution of an operating assistance grant <br /> agreement with the Federal Transit Administration. The grant � <br /> will provide $630,000 in federal funds for the operation of the <br /> Decatur Public Transit System in FY' 93 (July 1 , 1992 thru June <br /> 30, 1993) . <br /> The grant award was delayed because the 13 (c) certification <br /> was not received from the U.S. Department of Labor until the end <br /> of March, 1993. It should take 30-45 days to set up the <br /> letter-of-credit and commence drawdowns on the grant. <br /> dmu <br />
