� ' 6.3 The compensation for services, other than basic services, as described in Section 3 and 4 of this Agreement shall be paid m�nthly upon presentation of the A/E's statements for services rendered. For those services provided directly by the A/E, payments will be made on the basis of the actual cost to the A/E as defined in Exhibit "B" attached hereto. For those services provided by others, payment will be for the actual invoiced cost of such services. For purposes of estimatinq project costs the following shall apply: The cost of all necessary surveying and stakinq shall not N/A exceed dollars ($ ) • The cost of all testing services shall not exceed N/A dollars ($ ) • 6.4 The compensation for residerit construction inspection services as described in Section 5 of this Agreement shall be paid monthly upon presenta�ion of the A/E's statement for N/A services rendered. Payment will be made on the basis of the actual cost to the A/E as defined in E�ibit "B" attached hereto. The total cost of resident construction inspection, based on a total construction period for the project of calendar days, shall not exceed dollars ($ ) - 88CTION 7 Drawings and Specifications as instruments of service are, and shall remain, the property of the A/E whether the Project for which they are made is executed or not. They are not to be used by the Owner on other projects or extensions to this Project except by agreement in writing and with appropriate compensation to the A/E. SECTION 8 This agreement may be terminated by either party upon seven days' written notice should the other party fail substantially to perform in accordance with its terms, through no fault of the party initiating the termination. In the event of determination due to the fault of parties other than the A/E, the A/E shall be compensated for services performed to termination date. 9
