.,. <br /> .'�' . <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR AND RICHLAND COlbIlVIU1vITY COLLEGE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 1 sth day of Ma.y , 1992, <br /> by and between Community College District Number 537, Counties of Macon, Chrisdan, <br /> DeWitt, Logan, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon, Shelby, and the State of Illinois, first party <br /> (herein after referred to as Richland) and the City of Decatur, County of Macon, State of <br /> Illinois, second party (herein after referred to as the City). <br /> WIINESS <br /> WHEREAS, Richland Community College is the administrative agent through the <br /> Department of Commerce and Community Affairs to operate a Small Business Development <br /> Center, Federal Procurement Center, Export Technology Center, and Self- Employment <br /> Training Center, and WHEREAS, Richland Community College requires assistance from the <br /> City of Decatur to operate a Self-Employment Training Program in the Decatur area, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide a Self-Employment Training Program for individuals <br /> in and around the Decatur and Macon County area, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the sum of$10.00, paid by each party to <br /> each other, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, and for other good <br /> and valuable considerations, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Richland will promptly apply to the Department of Commerce and Community <br /> Affairs for a grant to conduct a Self-Employment Training Program, <br /> 2. Upon receipt of the grant, Richland Community College will sub-contract with <br /> the City for the purpose of providing a Self-Employment Training Program <br />
