Bacon, Jr. , City Manager <br /> David A. Clark, Director of Department of Community <br /> Development <br /> Robert S. Reed, Mass Transit Administrator <br /> SUBJECT: Amended Mass Transit Capital Grant Agreement <br /> Upon City Council approval, the attached resolution will <br /> authorize the execution of an amended capital grant agreement <br /> with the Illinois Department of Transportation. The amendment <br /> will revise some language in the alternative fuel project <br /> agreement concerning the State's financial participation, but the <br /> total funding will not be changed. <br /> In the original agreement, the State would pay an amount <br /> equal to 14 .2 percent of the actual net project cost, or in the <br /> amount of $17,375, whichever was less. In the amended agreement, <br /> the State will fund 25 percent of the actual project costs of <br /> fuel injector systems, a diesel engine, and a fuel distribution <br /> system, or in the amount of $17,375 , whichever is less. � <br />
