Me�icaI Assessment <br /> , <br /> Participants may receive a comprehensive medical and �mental status <br /> assessment. This comprehensive assessment inciudes standard mentaI- <br /> status tests such as :the information orientarion concentration test, the <br /> minie mental status test, and the Dementia Rating Scale. In addition to <br /> the mental-status testing, the comprehensive assessment includes a <br /> comple:e history, physical, psychiatric and neurologic examinarion and <br /> Iaboratory services. Any component of the medical assessmeat that is <br /> currentiy covered by Medicare w�l not be considered as a demonstration <br /> covered service. <br /> 14. Alzheimer's Administrative <br /> This service includes all salaries and other costs associated with <br /> administrative staff exciusiveIy involved in the Medicare Alzheimer's <br /> Disease Demonstration. Certain salaries and other costs of key <br /> administrative personnel devoting a major portion of their time, but Iess <br /> than 100 percent, are inciuded in t3�is definition, on the condition that the <br /> balance of their time is allocated to another direct demonstration service <br /> III-15 <br />
