i. Furnish one reproducible copy to the CITY of the Contract Documents consisting of <br /> Construction Agreement Forms, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Detailed <br /> Construction Drawings and Specifications. <br /> j. Bidding documents will be furnished to the CITY at the ENGINEER's actual cost of <br /> reproduction other than for the reproducible set defined in 1 i. <br /> k. Provide 26 hours of periodic job-site observation during the construction period. <br /> (Based on a 2 hour visit every other week for 26 weeks). <br /> I. Review pay estimates and change orders prepared by the CITY. (Limted to 12 hours <br /> total time based on 2 hours per month for 6 month construction period). <br /> m. Accompany the CITY on one final observation visit. <br /> n. Additional Services as may be agreed to in writing by both the CITY and ENGINEER. <br /> 2. Additional Biddinq Assistance- Furnish Additional Bidding Assistance during the bidding <br /> period if requested by the CITY. <br /> a. Assist the CITY in receipt of bids. <br /> b. Assist the CITY in tabulation and interpretation of Contractor's proposals. <br /> 3. Additional Construction Guidance- Furnish Additional Construction Guidance Services during <br /> the construction period if requested by the CITY. <br /> a. Consultant with the CITY and with the Contractor on interpretation of plans and <br /> specifications and regarding any changes under consideration as construction <br /> proceeds. <br /> b. Provide periodical job-site observation by the Project Engineer,or his representatives, <br /> in addition to that provided for in Paragraph 1 k. <br /> c. Prepare, review and/or submit all payment estimates,change orders, records, and <br /> reports required by the CITY in addition to the review provided for in Paragraph 11. <br /> d. Endeavor to safeguard the CITY against defects and deficiencies on the part of the <br /> contractor, but the ENGINEER does not guarantee the performance of the contract <br /> by the contractor. <br /> e. Conduct final observation of construction and prepare tinal papers and reports. <br /> f. Furnish a set of reproducible Record Drawings based on the marked-up prints, <br /> drawings and other data furnished by the Contractor and which the ENGINEER <br /> considers significant. <br /> g. Observe the contractor's operations periodically to help insure compliance with the <br /> plans and specifications and the keeping of complete project records. <br /> h. Review all reports by testing laboratories on equipment and material tested. <br /> i. Review all shop and working drawings. <br /> 2 <br />
