. . . <br /> -3- <br /> subcontractor (s) ' agents or employees or any other <br /> person (except his own employees and agents) at the <br /> project site or for the supervision, direction, control <br /> and work safety of any contractor (s) or for the con- <br /> struction means, methods, techniques, sequences, or <br /> procedures or for safety precautions or programs in- <br /> cidental to the work of contractor (s) or for any <br /> contractor (s) failure to perform the construction work <br /> in accordance with contract documents. <br /> c. Keep a daily record or log of the contractor' s <br /> activities throughout construction including notations <br /> on the nature and cost of any extra work. <br /> d. Supervise all inspectors, proportioning engineers, and <br /> other technical personnel assigned to the project. <br /> e. Review and check all payment estimates, change orders, <br /> records, and reports pertaining to the construction ac- <br /> tivities. <br /> 4 . That all reports, plans, plats, estimates, and special <br /> conditions to be furnished by the ENGINEER in accordance <br /> with la to lh, inclusive, of THE ENGINEER AGREES shall be in <br /> accordance with the current standard specifications and <br /> policies of the CITY, it being understood that all such <br /> reports, plans, plats, estimates, and drafts shall, before <br /> being finally accepted, be subject to approval by the CITY. <br /> During the performance of the engineering services herein <br /> provided for, the ENGINEER shall be responsible for any loss <br /> or damage to the documents herein enumerated while they are <br /> in the ENGINEER' S possession and any such loss or damage <br /> shall be restored at the ENGINEER' S expense. <br /> 5 . To attend conferences to be held at the request of the CITY <br /> and visit the site of the work at any reasonable time when <br /> requested to do so by the CITY. <br /> 6 . That tracings, plans, specifications, estimates, maps and <br /> other documents prepared by the ENGINEER in accordance with <br /> the AGREEMENT shall be delivered to and become the property <br /> of the CITY and that basic survey notes, sketches, charts, , <br /> and other data prepared or obtained in accordance with this <br /> AGREEMENT shall be made available, upon request, to the <br /> CITY, without restriction or limitation as to their use. <br /> 7 . That should the CITY require changes in any of the detailed <br /> construction plans, specifications, or estimates after they <br /> have been completed in accordance with the contract or as a <br /> result of policy changes by the CITY during the time work is <br /> underway, the CITY shall pay the ENGINEER for such extra <br /> work in accordance with Section 3 of THE CITY AGREES. <br />
