(Note that <br /> there are 15 stop logs per set. ) This is Rodney Hunt's mistake and th�y <br /> have agreed to manufacture the secQnd �et af stop logs by August 23, <br /> I991. Th�y will hold the first set of logs and ship both sets on ar <br /> before August �3. Allowing one week for delivery, the stop logs shauld <br /> be delivered to the Sauth Water Treatment plant by August 30. <br /> It is Bldck $ VedtCh'S understanding that the City has 45 days from the <br /> date af the bid opening to award the rantract for installing ths stap <br /> logs. September 5 w�ll be the last day of the 45 day period, There <br /> should be sufficient time to award the contract after cvnfirmation from <br /> Rodney Hunt that the sto}� ]ogs have been shipped- <br /> On Friday, Ju1y 26, Terry Leeds of 81ack & Veatch� and George Hill of <br /> Mid States In�. , (the only bidder on the stop log installation contract) <br /> discussed the status of the stop logs and the pra�ect in gene�al. <br /> Georg� indicated that thts delay should not cause him any problems as he <br /> 15 a local contractor. Ne did however express a cancern about the <br /> diving operation (required by the contra�t) during periods qf high flows <br /> over t�he dam. Ne stated that currently th�re is no flow going flver the <br /> dam. <br />
