• 2. Acknowledgement and Disclaimer Statements - All reports <br /> published by the DEPARTMENT and/or the CITY shall <br /> contain the following: <br /> a. An acknowledgement such as "prepared in <br /> cooperation with the U.S. Department of <br /> Transportation, Urban Mass Transportation <br /> Administration, and the Illinois Department of <br /> Transportation". <br /> b. Significant reports funded by the Urban Mass <br /> Transportation Administration shall include the <br /> grant number on the report cover. ' <br /> c. A disclaimer statement similar to the following: <br /> "The contents of this report reflect the views of ' <br /> the author who is responsible for the facts and � <br /> the accuracy of the data presented herein. The i <br /> contents do not necessarily reflect the official <br /> views or policies of the Illinois Department of � <br /> Transportation or the Urban Mass Transportation <br /> Administration. This report does not constitute a <br /> standard, specification or regulation." <br /> 16. Subcontracting and S�ecialized Services. <br /> A. All subcontracts shall contain those applicable provisions <br /> which are required in this contract. <br /> B. The DEPARTMENT, and the Urban Mass Transportation <br /> Administration shall have the right to review and approve all <br /> subcontracts prior to execution by the CITY and the <br /> subcontractor. However, pass through agreements with other <br /> public agencies incidental to a particular work task shall not <br /> require prior approval . <br /> C. No approval is necessary for nonprofessional or incidental <br /> services such as reproduction� printing and other services <br /> provided by others. <br /> D. The value of the work performed by the CITY with its own staff <br /> or by pass through agreements with other public agencies shall <br /> not be less than fifty (50) percent of the Agreement amount, <br /> excluding special services. Special services are those not <br /> ordinarily furnished by the CITY. <br /> E. If subletting of any portion of this Agreement is proposed by <br /> the CITY, prior written approval of the DEPARTMENT, and UMTA <br /> shall in no way relieve the CITY from prior responsibility for <br /> performance of the work. <br /> -6- <br />
