Sands <br /> Director of Public Works <br /> Subject: Engineering Services <br /> William St. Pump Station Generator <br /> City Project WS-9122 <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> In response to our recent discussions, we propose to provide <br /> professional services for the subject project which includes the <br /> preparation of preliminary plans, permit applications, construction <br /> plans, specifications, bidding assistance and construction super- <br /> vision. <br /> Compensation for such services would be a per diem plus direct <br /> cost charge in accordance with the following: <br /> A. A service charge, being the technical payroll cost for <br /> each category of employee engaged in the pursuance of <br /> the work and for the actual time engaged in the work <br /> times 2 . 0 to cover overhead, profit and readiness to <br /> serve. <br /> B. Reimbursement of direct expenses for items such as <br /> interim travel, telephone tolls, stakes, iron pins, <br /> printing or like direct costs incurred in the pursuance <br /> of the work at actual cost. <br /> C. In the event that additional services such as explora- <br /> tory drilling, materials testing, aerial photogrammetry, <br /> foundation studies or other specialized activities are <br /> furnished to BGM & Associates by another organization, ', <br /> reimbursement for such services shall also be at actual j <br /> cost plus five percent (5%) . <br /> D.
