, EXH�BtT A <br /> LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> A PARCEL EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO LOT 1 <br /> OF ASSESSORS SUBDIVISION OF LOT 8 <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> That part of the following described tract which lies East of and <br /> adjacent to the Northerly 137.63 feet of Lot One (1) of Asses- <br /> sor' s Subdivision of Lot Eight (8) in the Subdivision of the West <br /> 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 14, Township 16 North, Range <br /> 2 East of the 3rd P. M. ; a parcel of land located in the North <br /> 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section Fourteen (14) , Township <br /> Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M. at <br /> Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, said parcel of land being more <br /> particularly described as follows: From the point of beginning, <br /> being the point where a line that lies parallel to and 100 feet <br /> Northwesterly from the centerline of the Illinois Central Gulf <br /> Railroad Company's Clinton District main track intersects the <br /> Easterly extension of the South line of Wood Street, said South <br /> line being also the East-West centerline of said Section 14, run <br /> Southwesterly along said parallel line, being along Grantor's <br /> Northwest property line, 400 feet; thence East parallel to said <br /> East-West centerline of Section 14, 82 feet, more or less, to a <br /> line that lies parallel to and 25 feet Northwesterly from the <br /> centerline of said main track; thence Northeasterly along the <br /> last said parallel line, 400 feet to said East-West centerline of <br /> Section 14; thence West along said East-West centerline, 82 feet, <br /> more or less, to said point of beginning. Also, all right, title <br /> and interest, if any the Grantor may have to the South half of <br /> Wood Street lying along the North line of the pre�ises <br /> hereinabove conveyed. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. <br />
