�' 1 <br /> � � - 5 - <br /> the CONTRACTOR shall be made promptly and without cost <br /> to the CONTRACTOR. If, after final audit, certain <br /> previous reimbursements are judged ineligible, the <br /> CONTRACTOR will be responsible to cover the costs and <br /> reimburse the CLIENT, if necessary, in the amount of <br /> the ineligible reimbursements. <br /> 9 . Audit and Inspection of Records. The CONTRACTOR shall <br /> permit the authorized representatives of the CLIENT, <br /> the U. S. Department of Transportation, the Controller <br /> General of the United States, or their appointees, to <br /> inspect and audit all data and records of the CONTRAC- <br /> TOR relating to carrying out of this CONTRACT. This <br /> provision shall also apply to the State of Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation and the State of Illinois <br /> Comptroller. <br /> 10 . Termination of Contract. The CLIENT reserves the right <br /> to terminate this CONTRACT at any time upon written <br /> notice of termination. In the event of said termina- <br /> tion, the CLIENT, shall be liable only for the services <br /> rendered to the date of termination based upon fees <br /> described herein. It is understood that all completed <br /> or partially completed reports, records, computations, <br /> surveys and survey information, and other material the <br /> CONTRACTOR has collected shall become the exclusive <br /> property of the CLIENT. <br /> 11 . Changes. The CLIENT may, from time to time, request <br /> changes in the scope of services of the CONTRACTOR to <br />
