ILLINOIS PROPOSED NORTH TAYLOR PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS ENGINEERING SERVICE AGREEMENT � THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into the� y of , A.D. , 1990, by and between the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, hereinafter referred to as the "CITY," and BAINBRIDGE, GEE, MILANSKI & ASSOCIATES, CONSULTING ENGINEERS, herein- after referred to as the "ENGINEER," covers professional engineering services in connection with the preparation of plans, specifications, estimates of cost and construction of the proposed improvement of City Pro�ect 9013 - North Taylor Pump Station. WITNESSETH THAT, in consideration of these premises and of the mutual coven- ants herein set forth, THE ENGINEER AGREES, 1. Design Services - To perform or be responsible for the performance of the following professional engineering services for the CITY in connection with the proposed improvements hereinbefore described: a. Make such detailed surveys as are necessary for the prepara- tion of detailed construction plans. b. Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for the project. c. Direct any test borings or sub-surface explorations neces- sary for the proper preparation of said detailed Construc- tion Drawings and Specifications. d. Prepare proposal forms and notice to bidders and assist in the preparation of the Contract Documents. e. Prepare estimate of project construction cost based on final plans and documents. f. Furnish ten (10) copies of the Contract Documents consisting of Construction Agreement Forms, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Detailed Construction Drawings and Specifica- tions. Additional sets of plans, specifications and con- tract documents shall be furnished, upon request, at the actual cost of preparing and delivering the same. -1-
