SECTION XVI - PROTECTION OF THE PRIVACY OF PARTICIPANTS <br /> 16.1 The Provider shall comply with the Privacy Act of 1974 and <br /> the rules and regulations issued pursuant to the Act in the desiqn, <br /> development, or operation of any system of records on individuals <br /> participating in the Demonstration. <br /> SECTION XVII - APPLICABLE LAW <br /> 17.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in <br /> accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any action in a court of <br /> law to interpret or enforce the terms of this Agreement shall be instituted <br /> in Champaign County, Illinois. <br /> SECTION XVIII - NOTICES I <br /> 18.1 Any notices required under the terms of this Agreement shall I <br /> be sent by United States mail with postage prepaid thereon, addressed as <br /> follows; and such notice shall be effective upon the earlier of (i) receipt <br /> by the Party to whom it is addressed or (ii) one (1) day after notice is <br /> sent: <br /> Carle Clinic Association, P.C.
