J. Preparation of testimony and serving as an expert witness for the OWNER in any <br /> litigation or other proceeding involving the project. <br /> K Assistance to the OWNER in pursuance of any grants and/or loans in aid of the <br /> construction of the proposed improvements. <br /> L Preparation of Envi�onmental Assessment Studies and assisting in Environmental <br /> Assessment Hearings. <br /> M. Attend meetings at request of OWNER. <br /> N. Programming and computer services as may become necessary in the pursuance of <br /> the project. <br /> O. Any work or services not specifically provided for in this agreement which the <br /> ENGINEER performs by approval of the OWNER or any agent thereof,shall be <br /> classified as an extra or Additional Services and shall be paid for as such. <br /> SUB- Paragraph 4-Subcontractinc� <br /> CONTRACTING <br /> WVP anticipates using Coad, Rascovar and Associates as a subconsultant for HVAC, <br /> Electrical and Sprinkler System Work plus various vendors may supply printing, <br /> transportation,communications,computer services and expendable materials. <br /> COMPENSATION Paragraph 5-Comr�ensation. <br /> Compensation for services rendered under Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall be the total <br /> "Payroll Cost"of personnel assigned to the work by the ENGINEER times two and <br /> three-tenths (2.3) plus "Direct Non-Labor Costs". <br /> "Payroll Costs"shall mean the cost of salaries and wages, including any overtime <br /> premium paid to principals and employees engaged directly on the project, plus the <br /> cost of fringe benefits. For the purpose of this contract, it shall be established that <br /> fringe benefits shall be considered 40%of salaries and wages,which include Social <br /> Security contributions, unemployment,payroll taxes,Workman's Compensation, life <br /> insurance, health benefits,and sick leave,vacation and holiday pay. <br /> "Direct Non-Labor Costs"shall mean transportation, meal allowances, lodging, print <br /> and reproduction costs,telephone expense, meter and equipment rental, computer use <br /> charges and other costs directly chargeable to the project. Travel in company <br /> provided vehicles shall be charged at$0.25 per mile. <br /> Mileage rates and fringe benefit rates shall be in effect until December 31, 1989. <br /> After this date they shall be subject to increase. <br /> The estimated total cost of the services rendered under Paragraph 2.A, "Services of <br /> ENGINEER", is$19,800. The ENGINEER shall stop work prior to exceeding this cost <br /> and shall not resume work without written authorization of the OWNER.The estimated <br /> total cost listed above does not constitute a guaranteed maximum cost for completing <br /> the services described herein. <br /> 3 <br />
