Necessary vehicles shall be <br /> reimbursed at $0.30 per mile. "Technical payroll cost" is defined <br /> as salary cost plus (but not limited to) insurance, social security, <br /> vacation allowance and retirement costs. Subject to the approval <br /> of the CITY, the ENGINEE� may subcontract any necessary test boring <br /> or sub-surface exploration services to be rendered in accordance <br /> with Section le under THE ENGINEE$ AGREES and the CITY will pay the <br /> cost to the ENGINEER plus 5"� for office handling. <br /> 4. To pay the ENGINEF$_for_services rendered in accordance with Section <br /> 3 (Resident Inspection) under THE FNGINEER AGREES of the AGREEMLNT <br /> the technical payroll cost of performing such work times a multi- <br /> plier of 1.92 plus the cost of direct expenses as noted in Section <br /> 3 above. Reimbursement for transportation furnished for the Resi- <br /> dent Engineering services shall be at the rate of T�ao Hundred <br /> Dollars ($200.00) per month or T�aelve Dollars ($12.00) per day for <br /> any fraction of a calendar month. <br /> 5. That payment to the ENGINEES for services rendered in accordance <br /> with Section 2 of TSE CITY AGREES of this AGREEMENT will be made <br /> monthly by partial pa}naents based upon percentage of total work <br /> accomplished, assuming the following division of the work under the <br /> various parts of Section 1 of THE ENGINEER AGREES: <br /> Sub-section Portion of Total Work <br /> la (Prel. That payment to the ENGI�IEER for services rendered in accordance <br /> with Sections 3 and 4 of THE CITY AGREES will be made monthly by <br /> partial payments based upon costs to the ENGINEER. <br /> IT IS MUTIIALLy AGREED: <br /> 1. D s u es: That any differences between the ENGINEER and the CITY <br /> concerning the interpretation of the provisions of thls AGREEIiLNT <br /> shall be referred to a cammittee of disinterested parties consisting <br /> of one member appointed by the ENGINEER, one member appointed by the <br /> CIT7C, and a third member appointed by the two above noted members, <br /> for disposition and that the committee's decision shall be final. <br /> 2. Completion: That all work is to be completed under this AGREEMLNT <br /> within 6 months after the CITY issues a written Notice to Proceed. <br /> All reimbursement provisions of this AGREEI�ENT are based on such <br /> completion. <br /> -6- <br />
