If such contracts as are referred to herein are required to <br /> be, and are, obtained by Operator, then, for those covered <br /> risks, as additional consideration for the reimbursement of <br /> Operator for the costs of such contract or contracts as <br /> provided by paragraph 17 hereof� Operator shall, at Opera- <br /> tor' s own expense, defend all suits that may be brought <br /> against the City on account of, or in connection with, or by <br /> reason of any damage or injury to life, limb or property <br /> connected with, growing out of or caused by any act or <br /> omission to act of Operator or any employee of Operator in <br /> or about the operation of said facilities hereunder and <br /> shall save and keep harmless the City from any and all <br /> damages, judgments, costs and expenses of every kind that <br /> may arise or result by reason of the negligence of Operator <br /> or the employees of Operator by reason of, growing out of, <br /> or connected with the operation of said facilities and the <br /> carrying out of the terms and provisions of this Agreement. <br /> 19 . Operator shall operate said transit system on the <br /> days, during the hours and over the routes with such sched- <br /> uling, and at such fares as shall be approved or directed by <br /> City from time to time. <br /> 20 . Operator shall collect on behalf of the City and <br /> pay over to the City and account for to the City all reve- <br /> nue, fares and other income arising from the operation of <br /> 9 <br />
