Chapter 25 <br /> D. COMMISSION means: The Electrical Commission of the City <br /> of Decatur, as established by this Chapter. <br /> 3 . LICENSE REQIIIRED. (A) No corporation, partnership, or <br /> other person shall install, alter or service electrical equipment <br /> in the City of Decatur, Illinois, without first having obtained a <br /> license as an Electrical Contractor in the City of Decatur. All <br /> Electrical contractors shall employee at least one (1) properly <br /> licensed Electrician in a supervisory or administrative capacity. <br /> (B) No person shall install, alter or service electrical <br /> equipment, or supervise same, in the City of Decatur without <br /> first having obtained a license as an Electrician; provided <br /> that, any Electrician properly licensed through testing <br /> comparable to the City of Decatur in a municipality in the State <br /> of Illinois, may install, alter or service electrical equipment <br /> in this City without securing an additional license so long as <br /> such electrician complies with the rules and regulations and <br /> provisions of ordinance of this City and they are employed by, or <br /> licensed as, a City of Decatur Electrical Contractor. <br /> (C) The license requirements of subsections (A) and (B) <br /> hereof shall not apply: <br /> (1) to persons working under the supervision of a <br /> person licensed under the provisions of subsection (B) ; <br /> or, <br /> (2) to persons residing, or intending to reside, <br /> in a single family dwelling owned by such person or <br /> persons and who install, alter or service electrical <br /> equipment therein - provided that, such person or <br /> persons must reside in said residence for not less than <br /> six (6) months after completion of such work, and that <br />
