Chapter 25 <br /> Commission of the City of Decatur, Illinois , and shall <br /> successfully pass such examination with a grade of not less than <br /> 75%. <br /> 6. CONTENT OF EXAMINATION (ELECTRICIAN) . The Commission <br /> shall, by written examination, examine each applicant as to his <br /> practical knowledge of the installation, safe construction, <br /> alteration, testing, maintenance and servicing of electrical <br /> equipment and provisions of this Chapter and such applicable <br /> national codes and standards as may be applicable to the work of <br /> an electrician. <br /> 7 . QIIALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT (ELECTRICIAN) . Each <br /> applicant shall be at least 21 years of age and be a Registered <br /> Electrical Engineer, or shall show proof of not less than four <br /> years practical experience in the field of electrical <br /> installations, or related work, or have satisfactorily completed <br /> an approved course in the particular subject in a recognized <br /> school accompanied by one year of practical experience. Such <br /> information shall be provided at least two (2) weeks prior to the <br /> examination. <br /> 8 . LICENSE FEE. Licenses shall be issued annually for the <br /> period of January 1 through December 30 of the next succeeding <br /> year with an annual fee of $50. 00 for a Contractors License and <br /> $50. 00 for an Electricians License, which is in addition to the <br /> examination fee provided for elsewhere herein.
