JC ,� • <br /> � ORDINANCE NO. � — q <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - HUMAN RIGHTS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 28 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and <br /> amended, so that said Chapter 28 as so modified and amended shall <br /> provide as set out on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> Section 2 . That the City Code of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, be, and the same is hereby further modified and amended <br /> by deleting Chapters 8, 9, '71, 71. 1 and 72 therefrom. I <br /> Section 3 . That it is the intent of the Council , and this <br /> amendatory ordinance is to be so construed , that those <br /> Commissioners serving on the Human Relations Commission on the <br /> effective date hereof shall continue to so serve until the ends <br /> of their current respective terms and shall have all of the <br /> duties, responsibilities and authority conferred hereby on such <br /> Commissioners , and their successors shall be appointed as <br /> provided herein. <br /> Section 4 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to cause the provisions hereof to be <br /> appropriately set out in the City Code and to cause the same to <br /> be published in pamphlet form according to law. <br /> Section 5 .
