Chapter 34 <br /> B. A police of f icer may remove or cause to be removed a <br /> vehicle as authorized herein without notice to the owner thereof <br /> whenever such vehicle is parked or abandoned so as to constitute <br /> an immediate hazard or obstruction to other vehicles on or seek- <br /> ing access to public streets, or alleys provided that notice as <br /> required in subparagraph {c}LA,l hereof is given to such owner, if <br /> the same can be ascertained, within 24 hours of such removal. If <br /> the owner of such vehicle appears as provided within seven (7) <br /> days after such notice is given, or within seven (?) days of <br /> removal if no notice was given, as the case may be, and it is <br /> found that no robable cause exists to believe that the violation <br /> P <br /> occurred as alleged, the vehicle shall be released to such owner <br /> b the Cit without a e t of an fees b such owner. <br /> Y Y PYmn Y Y <br /> C. If a vehicle is removed as provided in subparagraph (A) <br /> hereof or held in storage either after a hearing or after seven <br /> (7) days as provided in subparagraph (B) hereof, such vehicle <br /> shall not be released to the owner thereof until payment of <br /> towing and storage fees is made; provided that, should such owrier <br /> be found not guilty by a court of law of the parking violation <br /> which caused the removal of the vehicle, then said vehicle shall <br /> be released to such owner without payment of any fees. Such a <br /> vehicle may also be released to the owner thereof if said owner <br /> provides the City with assurance satisfactory to the Legal <br />
