Chapter 34 <br /> ��r� PLACEMENT OF SIGNS. The Director of the Department <br /> of Public Works shall place and maintain all traffic control <br /> devices, signs and all other markings for the control of traffic <br /> and parking, as directed by the City Council or as required by <br /> this Chapter to make effective the provisions hereof. <br /> �3-15. TIIRNS. Whenever authorized signs are erected in- <br /> dicating that no right, left or "U" turn is permitted, no driver <br /> of a vehicle shall disobey the directions of any such sign, and <br /> when authorized marks, buttons, or other indications are placed <br /> within an intersection or within the streets approaching the in- <br /> tersection indicating the course to be traveled by vehicles turn- <br /> ing thereat, no driver of a vehicle shall disobey the directions <br /> of such indications. <br /> �4-16 . IINLAWFIIL SIGNS OR OBSTRIICTZONB . No person shall <br /> place, maintain or display upon or in view of any street or high- <br /> way any unauthorized sign, signal, marking, speed bump or device <br /> which purports to be or is an imitation of or resembles an offi- <br /> cial traffic-control device or railroad sign or signal, or which <br /> attempts to direct or alter the movement of traffic, nor shall <br /> any person place, maintain, or display upon or in view of any <br /> street or highway any other sign which hides from view or inter- <br /> feres with the movement of traffic or the effectiveness of any <br /> traffic-control device or any railroad sign or signal, and no <br /> person shall place or maintain nor shall any public authority <br />
