Petitioner, DECATUR MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, an <br /> Illinois not-for-profit corporation, is the owner of the <br /> following described real estate which abuts and adjoins said <br /> alley: <br /> Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 in Brueck <br /> & Akers Addition to the City of Decatur, as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 149, Page 25 of the Records <br /> in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, <br /> Illinois. <br /> 4 . Petitioner, DECATUR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, an Illinois <br /> not-for-profit corporation, is the owner of all the <br /> remaining real estate which abuts and adjoins said alley, <br /> which is legally described as follows : <br /> Lots One ( 1) and Two (2) of Brueck & Akers <br /> Addition to the City of Decatur, as per plat <br /> recorded in Book 149 page 25 of the Records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois . <br /> 5 . The alley has not been used for a number of years <br /> and the public interest will be served by its vacation. <br /> 6 . The relief to the City of Decatur from the <br /> potential of a future burden and ' responsibility of <br /> maintaining the alley is a public interest sufficient to <br /> authorize its vacation. <br /> 7 . Attached hereto, marked Exhibit "B" , is an <br /> appraisal of the alley, dated July 17, 1992, prepared by <br /> Kent Fitzjarrald, MAI . <br />
