Their use of the parking lot is substantially impaired because <br /> of unauthorized parking which cannot be controlled because of the access <br /> provided from the north by the alley. <br /> 8. Parking for Huston-Patterson Corporation is also provided on other <br /> vacant ground east of the alley. Its use of that area is substantially <br /> impaired because of unauthorized parking which cannot be controlled because <br /> of the access provided from the north by the alley. <br /> 9. Huston-Patterson Corporation has long range plans for expansion <br /> that would include the use of the real estate Which is now in the alley. <br /> 10. A narrow strip of ground on the west side of the alley extending <br /> nozth 203.8 feet of the north line of William Street was vacated by <br /> Qrdinaace No. 1400 adopted September 13, 1938. <br /> 11. There is a 12 inch sanitazy sewer that runs north and south <br /> through the alley. <br /> 12. The public interest will be subserved by vacating the alley, <br /> except the south 80 feet thereof. <br /> 13. The vacating ordinance should reserve an easement for the existing <br /> sanitary seWer and any other existing utilities, and be subject to payment <br /> of compensation in an amount equal to the benefits which vill accrue to <br /> petitioners by zeason of the vacation. <br />
