That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br /> Decatur, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, further modified <br /> and amended at Section II . thereof by adding subsections 88, 89, <br /> 90 and 91, said subsections to provide as follows: - <br /> "88 . RESIDENTIAL-CARE: Maintenance, room and <br /> board, oversight, general watchfulness, and appropriate <br /> services to meet needs of residents, including but not <br /> limited to social, recreational and employment <br /> opportunities. <br /> 89 . RESIDENTIAL-CARE HOME: Any living quarters <br /> wherein unrelated individuals are provided residential <br /> care. A residential care home does not include a <br /> nursing home, hospital or adult day center or living <br /> quarters which serve persons as an alternative to <br /> incarceration for a criminal offense. <br /> 90 . SMALL RESIDENTIAL-CARE HOME: Any residential- <br /> care home at which no more than eight persons are <br /> receiving care at any one time. <br /> 91 . LARGE RESIDENTIAL-CARE HOME: Any residential- <br /> care home at which more than eight persons are receiving <br /> care. " <br /> Section 5. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br /> Decatur, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, further modified <br /> and amended at Section V. (B) thereof by adding subsection 11 <br /> thereto, said subsection 11 to provide as follows: <br /> "11 . Small Residential-Care Home, when located at <br /> least 1000 feet from any other residential-care home. " <br /> Section 6. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of <br /> Decatur, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, further modified <br /> and amended at Section IX. (B) by adding subsections 8 and 9 <br /> thereto, said subsections 8 and 9 to provide as follows: <br /> "8. Large Residential-Care Home, when located at <br /> least 1000 feet from any other residential-care home. <br /> 9. Nursing Home. " <br /> Section 7. That the Zonir,g Ordinance of the City of <br /> Decatur, as amended, be, and the same is hereby, further modifie3 <br /> and amended at Section XXI. (A) (1) (t) thereof so that as so � <br /> modified and amended said Section XXI. (A) (1) (t) provides as ��I <br /> follows: <br /> " (t) Large Residential-Care Homes in the R-1 , R-2 , � <br /> R-3 and R-5 zoning districts, when located not less than <br /> 1000 feet from any other residential-care home. " <br />
