1'""_' _ '= - �,, <br /> � _ - <br /> ' _-!/ ��_�� <br /> July 31, 1990 <br /> Decatur City Planning Commission <br /> Decatur Civic Center <br /> #1 Civic Center Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> Dear Commissioners: <br /> I will be out-of-town on August 2, but I wanted to express <br /> my opposition to the proposed rezoning of the former Cresthaven <br /> Country Club. <br /> I believe a change in zoning to allow any multiple family <br /> dwellings in this area is inappropriate and have a detrimental <br /> affect on the property values of adjoining residences. Duplexes <br /> would be out of character with the neighborhood. The closest <br /> other multi-family dwellings are located near the intersection of <br /> Water Street and Mound Road, two primary roads some two miles <br /> away from this property. The proposed duplexes would be on a <br /> cul-de-sac that would be within about 150 feet of my home at 705 <br /> Wolf Road.
