purpose of this provision of the Act is to permit <br /> individuals with developmental disabilities to live where <br /> they wish in theiz community without discrimination from <br /> neighbors and State and Local governments. <br /> MRi appreciate past efforts on the part of the City of <br /> Decatur to support aqencies' service efforts and to address <br /> the residential needs of individuals with developmental <br /> disabilities; we recoqnize that the city is currently <br /> reviewinq the Fair Housinq Act and all of its provisions but <br /> has not yet had time to chanqed city requlations to adopt <br /> this Act. <br /> A special use permit is respectfully requested from that <br /> perceptive and we look forward to chanqes in city <br /> regulations and full adoption of this Act by Decatur and alI <br /> local governments in the near future. <br />
