U '� I ORDINANCE GRANTING SPECIAL PERMIT NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY - OCEAN TRAIL ROAD - TAHEREAS, on the lst day of February, 1990 , upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of the Department of Military Affairs, State of Illin�is, for a special permit under the provisions of Section XXI (A) (1) (i) of the Zoning Ordinance to own and operate a government building - namely, an armory - upon premises legally described as follows: Part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section Twenty-One (21) ; I Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Three (3) East of the �, 3rd P.M. , more particularly described as follows: ' Frcm the Southwest corner of Section 21 go North 88 �', degrees 56 ' 50" East a distance of 2649 . 46 feet to an I iron pin in the East-West roadway; thence North 1 degree 1 ' 30" West a distance of 24 . 22 feet to a point in the No�th right-of-way line of the East-West rcadway, thence South 88 degrees 56 ' S0" West along the right-of-way �ine a distance of 50 feet to the point of beginning; ihence North 1 degree 1 ' 30" West 792 �eet to a point which is perpendicular to and 50 feet West of the centerline of Airport Road; thence South 88 degrees 56 ' 50" ttiest a distance of 660 feet to a poir,t; thence South 1 degree 1 ' 30" East a distance of 792 feet to a poir�t in the North right-of-way line of the East-West roadway; thence North 88 degrees 56 ' 50" East a distance of 660 feet to the point of beginning, situated in Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, said Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that �uch special permit be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1 . That t:�e recommendation and report of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the same are hereby, received, placed on file and approved.
