' COUNCIL MEMORANDUM
#88-45
May 11 , 1988
TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Council Members
FROM: Leslie T. Al1en, City Manager
RE: Ordinance Authorizing Agreement for Water Service
5050 Reas Bridge Road I
A resolution authorizing an agreement for water service out-
side of City limits has been placed on the agenda for Monday, May
16.
I was contacted by a Mr. Whitaker who owns this property
about water service. His mother resides at this address .
Currently, their water well supply is unreliable and un-
satisfactory.
There is a large City watermain located on Reas Bridge Road
that this property could connect to.
It has been determined that the property is not contiguous
so it cannot be annexed to the City.
This is a typical water agreement in which the owner agrees
to annex property when it becomes contiguous, owner agrees to pay
watermain connection fee, owner agrees to pay double City water
rate, etc.
I recommend your approval of this resolution.
Attachment
cc: William B.
