A <br /> �'�s�'�'�F�L�9�'D <br /> ORD I NANCE NO. � �" I a l� <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> SELF SERVICE STORAGE FACILITIES <br /> WHEREAS, after due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing on the Sth day of Novemb�r , 1987, upon the <br /> petition of the Director of Community Development to amend the <br /> text of the Zoning Ordinance with regard to self service starage <br /> facilities; and , <br /> WHEREAS, said Commission did recommend that the prayer of <br /> said petition be granted and the Zoning Ordinance so amended . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1 . That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission be, and the same is hereby, received , placed on file <br /> and approved . <br /> Section 2. That Section II of the Zoning Ordinance, the <br /> same being Ordinance No . 3512 adopted on the 8th day of F�bruary, <br /> 1960 be, and the same is hereby , amended by adding the following <br /> paragraph thereto , said paragraph to provide as follows: <br /> 87. 5elf service storage facility; a facility <br /> consisting of a building or group of buildings used <br /> for the purpose of renting or leasing individuai <br /> storage spaces or lockers therein to tenants for <br /> dead storage of their goods and property , but not <br /> involving the conduct of any work or business <br /> activity on the premises. <br /> Section 3. That Section XIV.B, of said Zoning Ordinance be, <br /> ana the same is herPby, amended by adding the foilowing par�graph <br /> thereto , said paragraph to provide as follows : <br />
