provisions of Chapter 24, Illinois Revised Statutes , Article IX, <br /> entitled, "Local Improvements". <br /> SECTION 12: That the aggregate assessment, and also each <br /> individual assessment, and the assessment against The City of <br /> Decatur for public benefits , shall be divided into ten annual <br /> installments in the manner provided by law. Each installment , <br /> except the first one, shall be in the amount of $100 . 00 or some <br /> multiple thereof, and each of said installments shall bear <br /> interest at the rate of 10x per annum, payable annuallp, <br /> according to law, until paid. . <br /> SECTION 13 : That all proceedings for the taking or <br /> damaging of property and for the assessing, levying and <br /> collecting of said Special Assessment as herein provided for, and <br /> for each and every installment thereof, and for the letting of <br /> the contract of said improvement, and for the payment of the work <br /> and materials , all , each and every proceeding shall accord with <br /> and be governed by an act of the General Assembly of Illinois , <br /> entitled, "LOCAL IMPROVEM�r1TS" , being Chapter 24 , Illinois <br /> Revised Statutes, Article IX, and all acts amendatory thereof. <br /> SECTION 14 : That management of said improvement shall be <br /> under the general supervision of The Board of Local Improvements <br /> of The City of Decatur, Illinois. <br /> SECTION 15 : That special counsel be and he is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to file a petition in the Circuit Court <br /> of Macon County, Illinois , in the name of The City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois , requesting that steps may be taken to ascertain the <br /> compensation to be ma.de �or private property to be taken or <br /> (5) <br />� <br />
