40. It shall be unlawful for any person or operator to <br /> cause , allow, permit or suffer any vehicle to be parked <br /> overtime or beyond the period for which the coin inserted in <br /> the parking meter entitles the vehicle to occupy said <br /> parking space. <br /> 41. It shall be unlawful for any person or operator to <br /> permit a vehicle to remain in any space adjacent to any <br /> parking . meter while the said meter is displaying a signal <br /> indicating that the vehicle occupying such parking space has <br /> already been parked beyond the period for which the coin <br /> inserted in said meter entitles it to remain in said parking <br /> space . <br /> 42 . It shall be unlawful for any person to insert <br /> coins into any parking meter so as to cause said meter to <br /> indicate that a vehicle is legally parked in the zone <br /> adjacent thereto for any period of time in excess of the <br /> maximum time permitted for vehicular parking in said zone. <br /> 43. Metered parking in a municipal parking lot or <br /> other city parking facilities shall conform to the <br /> regulations established from time to time . All other <br /> applicable provisions of this chapter in regard to metered <br /> parking shall apply to metered parking in the municipal <br /> parking lots and other City parking facilities. <br /> 44 . It shall be unlawful to insert or cause to be <br /> inserted in any parking meter any slug, device, or thing <br /> whatsoever than the indicated required coin of the United <br /> States . <br />
