83-94 MODIFYING CHARGES FOR USE OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARKING SYSTEM GARAGE FACILITIES

That until the further order of the Council the monthlv charge or rate for other than hourly parking in spaces designated for the same on the upper levels of Garages B and C be, and the same is hereby, established at Twelve Dollars ($12. 00) per month. Section 6. That the monthly charge or rate for occunancy of designated spaces by motorcycles shall be one-half (1/2) the respective rates set out in Sections 4 and 5. Section 7. That the char�es set out in Section 4, 5 and 6 shall not be nrorated and once paid shall not be refunded. Section 8. That no charge for f�ourly parking in said garages shall be made for the five (5) respective Fridays and Saturdays immediately next preceding Christmas Day. Section 9. That the City PTanager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to, at the request of the Downtown Decatur Council, suspend hourly parking charges on not to exceed ten (10) days in any one (1) calendar year as incentive days to encourage greater use of said facilities , Section 10. That the provisions of this ordinance other than those regarding other than hourly charges shall become effective after nublication hereof as pr_ovided by law and said provisions regarding charges for other than hourly parking shall become and be effective on and after December 1, 1933.
