EXCERPT <br /> CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, OCTOBER 17 , 1983 <br /> On Monday, October 17, 1983 , the City Council of the City of Decatur, <br /> Illinois, met in regular meeting at 7 : 30 P. M. in the City Council Chambers, <br /> One Civic Center Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. Mayor Gary K. Anderson presided; <br /> together with him being Councilmen Carol A. Brandt, Erik C. Brechnitz, <br /> Charles Harris, Jr. , William F. Oliver, Penny L. Severns and Nick Striglos. <br /> All seven members of the Council were present and none were absent. Mayor <br /> Anderson declared a quorum present. <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> Ordinance No. 83-78 , approving issuance of Refunding Revenue Bonds <br /> for Decatur Memorial Hospital, was presented and read. <br /> Counciiman Brechnitz moved the ordinance do pass and be adopted; <br /> seconded by Councilman Severns, and on call of the roll, Councilmen Brandt, <br /> Brechnitz, Harris, Oliver, Severns , Striglos and Mayor Anderson voted aye. <br /> The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> * * * * * * * <br /> There being no further business, Councilman Brechnitz moved the <br /> meeting be adjourned; seconded by Councilman Brandt, and on call of the <br /> roll, Councilmen Brandt, Brechnitz, Harris, Oliver, Severns, Striglos and <br /> Mayor Anderson voted aye.
