the sharing of certain costs related to the micro-surfacing improvements of portions of various public highways in Macon <br /> County, Illinois, between the City of Decatur, the Village of Long Creek and the Village of Mount Zion, Illinois. <br /> • May 16, 2016- Council approved Resolution R2016-51 appropriating an additional sum of$760,000 for City Project 2015-24 <br /> to bring the total appropriated motor fuel tax to $900,000, and the City Council approved Resolution R2016-52 to accept the <br /> bid from Microsurfacing Contractors, LLC for City Project 2015-24 and authorize the contract amount of$900,000. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Department of Transportation, Macon County Highway Department, Hickory Point <br /> Township. <br /> STAFF REF'ERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Warks Director and Matt Newell, City Engineer and Griffm Enyart, Civil Engineer <br /> II. Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TTME IMPLICATTONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Change order#1 is to add an additional$80,000 to the $900,000 of State Motor Fuel Tax funds allocated for this <br /> project. No extensions to the 30 working day completion timeline are expected.
