It shall be unlawful for any person to di� , cut or <br /> remove any sod, or earth fron any street , or other public place <br /> within the City without a permit from the Director of the Public <br /> Works Department , or from any premises not his o�un, without the <br /> consent of the owner. <br /> 18 . It shall be unlawful to climb upon any street , lamp- <br /> post , telegraph, telephone or electric light pole , or han.g, or <br /> place upon or against the same, any goods , boxes , fuel or other <br /> material, provided this section shall not apply to any person <br /> whose duty it is , in the course of his occupation to do the <br /> sa�e. <br /> 19 . Any person who shall aid, abet , assist , consult, advise <br /> or encourage any child, lunatic, idiot or other person to violate <br /> any ordinance or portion thereof of the City, shall be prosecuted <br /> for such offense as princi�al and be subject to the same as if he <br /> or she had committed the offense directly. <br /> 20 . Any person, firra or corporation who shall violate any <br /> of the provisions of this Chapter shall, upon conviction, be <br /> fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500 . 00) for each <br /> of�ense, and each day on which a violation occurs or continues <br /> shall be considered a separate offense. <br /> 21. The .fine provided for in Section 20 of this Chanter <br /> shall not be deemed to be the exclusive remedy for any act or <br /> thing constitutin� a nuisance under the provisions hereof, or <br /> under the co�on law, or to bar or prohibit the exercise of <br /> remedies , other than fine, applicable thereto. <br />
