fi • <br /> . � <br /> 2 . 2 Any alarm system so installed or operated as <br /> to communicate an alarm to the central communications <br /> facility shall be maintained in good working order and <br /> so as not to generate false alarms due to system defect <br /> or malfunctions . <br /> 2 . 3 Every alarm user of an alarm system so in- ; <br /> stalled and operated shall provide the Police Department � <br /> and keep currently up to date names and telephone numbers <br /> of persons who are authorized and readily availabl� to <br /> assist -at the premises or facility at any time an alarm <br /> is transmitted therefrom. <br /> 2 .4 Every alarm system so installed or maintained <br /> shall be so operated as not to transmit false alarms . <br /> 2. 5 Any alarm system not installed, maintained or <br /> operated as provided herein may be disconnected from <br /> said panel and be prohibited from transmitting alarms ! <br /> to said central communications facility upon order of <br /> the Police Chief, or, after reasonable notice , fire . <br /> or police response to the premises of alarm origination <br /> may be terminated. <br /> 2 . 6 Relay to the Police Department of alarms re- <br /> ceived by an alarm answering point shall only be by <br /> private direct line service from such point terminating <br /> at a private telephone installed and maintained at the <br /> central communications facility at the expense of the <br /> alarm service, permission for the installation and main- <br /> tenance of which line and telephone has been and con- <br /> tinues to be authorized by the Police Chief. <br /> Response Charge <br /> 3 . 1 A response charge in the amount of $30 . 00 is <br /> hereby authorized and levied for each response to a <br /> false alarm transmitted to the Police Department. <br /> 3 . 2 Said response charge may be waived by the <br /> Police Chief if upon due investigation taking into <br /> account the cause and circumstances of such false <br /> alarm and the lack of frequency of other such false <br /> alarms by such alarm user the same did not cause rea- <br /> sonably expectable levels of public safety service to <br /> be exceeded. <br /> I <br /> � <br /> i <br />
